LittleBigPlanet Vita

We love the original PS3 titles and can’t wait for SackBoy to hit Sony’s brilliant handheld.

LittleBigPlanet

To save the day you must travel through a series of themed levels packed with thrills, spills, and hilarious moments to foil the Puppeteer’s evil plans. And using the Vita’s camera & touch controls you can customize Sackboy and the world around him. And just like the first two games there will be an endless amount of user-created levels from the LittleBigPlanet community, which will keep occupied for months after you finish the main game.

LittleBigPlanet will offer Vita players the gorgeous originality that sparked life into the PS3, and here’s hoping it does the same with Sony’s new handheld!

FIFA 13

Next is EA’s brilliant football sim Fifa 13. Now offering a whole barrage of new features, this looks set to be the most comprehensive Fifa game yet.

FIFA

It will feature five brand new gameplay innovations which completely change the artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and physical play, as well as engaging online features and live services. And the game also has Kinect features which enable you to use voice commands to manage your club’s line-up and tactics without pausing the game, shout directions on the pitch, and of course abuse the ref!

Fifa 13 looks set to be the best installment yet, and of course be on the top of any sports fans shopping list.

Assassin’s Creed 3

Next up we cannot wait to get our hands on Ubisoft’s latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Assassin’s Creed 3.

Assassin's Creed 3

This time set in 1775 during The American Colonies, you play as the brand new protagonist – Connor, a brave young Native American who is fighting to save his homeland. But what begins as a struggle over territory turns into an extraordinary journey that will transform him into a Master Assassin. Using Ubisoft’s brand new in-game engine – Anvil Next it makes the backdrop of one of the bloodiest Revolutions in world history come to life. You are drawn back into the centuries old battle between the Assassin’s Order and their sworn enemy, the Templars. You get to unleash lethal new skills and experience a stunningly realistic world.

The game will take you through blood-soaked battlefields to crowded city streets, to perilous wilderness and beyond. Taking you through a brutal period of history and putting you right in and amongst it. Most importantly this game looks to have a rich and addictive story line, making our excitement for the series reach palpable levels.

Halo 4

The fourth installment of Microsoft’s wonder brand – Halo is next on our list. The brand itself has developed a life of its own, and has pretty much reached the level where any Halo game released is a good enough reason to buy.

Halo 4

Development duties may be with 343 Industries, but if the success and quality of each Halo title delivered is anything to go by, we’re sure Halo 4 will bring another spectacular Master Chief achievement. Set almost five years after the events of Halo 3, Halo 4 takes the series in a brand new direction and sets the stage for a new trilogy.

In addition to the brand new story line, Halo 4 introduces a new multiplayer offering, called “Halo Infinity”, that builds off the franchise’s brilliant multiplayer history and looks set to continue to develop and refine the way people play.

WiiU

And finally the thing that got us drooling in anticipation to play by the end of the year is of course the Wii U.

WiiU

With its combination of motion-sensing gameplay with the ability to support full HD graphics it provides something we’ve never experienced on a Nintendo home console before. Coming with the brilliant new 6.2-inch wide screen controller it is said to remove the boundaries between the TV and the games console, creating a more dynamic gaming experience. And with a whole catalogue of classic Nintendo games hitting the console such as – New Super Mario Bros U, Lugi’s Mansion 2, Wii Fit U and Nintendo Land this is going to be what any games fan will want to get their hand on this Christmas!

  1. Ni no Kuni

  3. Dishonored
