i have a sonim xp3 and its the best phone i've owned. a very practical phone that stands up to alot of abuse. as i'm a plumbing & heating engineer you can imagine the treatment it has to put up with. don't get sucked in with, 'look at me i've got a multi media or smart phone' they are useless. if you have an active life style or actually work for a living this is the phone to have.

Im on my THIRD xp3, its pretty tough, but not anyway near worth the initial cost (mine was £300 !!) My first one developed a microphone problem (sounded like i was always somewhere windy) The second had a keypad issue and im sure because of this it would not have been waterproof. Im determined to get my three years out of it, but everytime it malfunctions they send me a new one (and a new warranty) So I still have two and half years on this one (I bought the original 3 years ago!!) At this rate i'll never need to buy a phone again. No functions, No internal Memory, not even a camera, a normal text takes 2 messages to send. When it eventually goes i'll go back to a decent phone with functions, music, etc.But i'll buy a sturdy case.
