why is the iphone so much more expensive than the ipod touch when the ipod feels nicer and is very thin with a quality feel to it. the only big difference between the ipod and the iphone is well the phone bit ofcourse and the 3g. but the ipod will do all the same stuff at a much smaller price.

Took a bit of getting used to just like everytime you get a new phone...the cheep way to get one is to take a reconditioned 3g instead of a new 3gs. My wife took the recon 3g to save paying £87 & its every bit as good as my 3gs. The main diference is the video camera, but who really uses that any way...its handy, but not essential. Also the voice call recognition on 3gs, good, but not perfect....like all voice recognition technology, it gets it wrong...obviously my alien scottish accent is too much for it to handle. Guess what...its definately the best gadget i've ever owned & love the gps apps with Rate my Ride which plots & guages your workout...it even tells you how fast & far you've gone as you cycle...Fantastic!!!!!

I love this phone. I dont think I could ever go back to a traditional mobile after using this. Its so easy to use and the apps allow you to make it the perfect phone.

Yes! Gadget of the decade!!! Totally deserved it! Ive got one and it is absoloutly fantastic. I love the range of apps you can get and most of them have free versions so thats great. If only the 3g had a camera that filmed. But you kinda forget about that anyway because you're too busy playing an app to care!

Had problems with the wifi on my iphone, apparently a common-ish problem with overheating of the wifi chip or a loose wifi antenna. Took it to apple store who replaced it for free - you really can't deny that they have a great customer service department. The phone is so simple to use, with a great interface. It is so intuitive that most people can pick it up and use it out of the box. The apps are what make this stand out though from the other smart phones out there. If there isn't one available for the function that you are after... just wait a week and someone will have written one. If you can't wait that long, have a stab at creating it yourself and making it available for everyone to download. If Suzi and Baldy can do it, anyone can!

Just got the Iphone 3Gs this is total brilliance WELDONE apple.. Everything runs so smooth and the video / editing is excellent. Bought this phone by trading in my old phone which made the price closer to the 3G... Make sure you do not waste money on 3G save for the S fantastic and smooth. !!!

This phone is sooo overated ! i'v had mine for some time now and to be honest it really isnt great at all ! firstly you can't send pictures to kiosks or send songs to friends using bluetooth. also you cant just use an mp3 track as you ringtone you have to choose a horrid one from apple or cut a song down to something like 30 seconds (extremely faffy) The camera on these are realy bad, you have to hold it dead still to get something decent and theres no standard video camera! you can buy video camera apps from the store but their extremely poor ! The back of the phone gets scratched so easily, then it maks the phone look ugly if you have a bulky case on it. I also think its quite slow going onto apps or messages. oh not forgetting the battery life ! doesn't last a day if you lisen to music alot like me ! in my opinion these phones are toally overated and exteremely over priced ! the only thing good about it is the internet ad the ipod !

I find that the Apple I phone is one of the worst for loss of signal. Every 20 seconds I get a Loss of Network, spoke to Customer Service about it (on a land line)nothing done. I have also heard from three other people in my vicinity that experience the same. What is it with this phone.

Really want an Iphone 3gs but it's too expensive. Some people are saying that the HTC will be the next big thing as you can use flash player and it is cheaper. The only thing wrong with the HTC is the length of time it run's on a full charge .

Love the I Phone but have huge signal issues. Phone keeps dropping signal when in the car or out and about. I have never experienced this with any of my previous phones. Can any one else suggest how you can get a better signal. Vodafone and Apple can't help. Suggestions welcome

I bought an iphone on the back of this and other reviews last year and my disappointment is vast. It is a rubbish phone. I have the 30gb 3gs not the fourth which has well documented calling problems. It constantly loses network (my last phone same network, same location didn't). It crashes, it hangs, it needs to be reset. The itunes software it needs to back up and work - gobbles up your computer's hard drive. The camera is TERRIBLE. It isn't a phone it's an igadget with a rubbish camera. If you want to know which tube car to get on to exit at the exit then buy this utter piece of rubbish. If not get yourself a phone. Iphone? Ihang, Idropcalls, Itakerubbishphotos, Iopenyoutoconstantinterruption. Irubbish more appropriately. Do not buy an iphone. Pretty but empty.

ive had my iphone 3G for a few weeks, it was my aunt's and she gave it to me. and i am very impressed with it, the app store has thousands of titles. Most are compatable with this iphone but a few aren't. the camera cannot shoot video and is only 2 megapixel but it is decent on the 320/480 screen. Unfortunatly you cannot change the background behing the icon as you can on the iphone 3gs and 4. you can get many apps for free, my favourite is Siege Hero you get hundreds of levels for free! The design if this iphone is no different from the iphone 3GS but its comfortable to hold and an ok design.

I don't have an iPhone, they are far too expensive for what they are. I have a Nokia N86 and I am very pleased with it. If the iPhone were to reduce in price I would buy one, because it can do quite a lot of things, and it is easy to acces the internet and emails on the iPhone, whereas my Nokia N86 is a bit too difficult and the pages are far too small, as a result of this I do not use my Nokia N86 for the internet, I use the iPod Touch 4th Generation, and near where I work, there is a pub that has wi fi, which I can pick up in my office, and I use that, the iPod Touch is great and I love it, and I think I will remain with the iPod Touch till the price of an iPhone is a relistic price.

well i think the iphone 3g is a very good mobile it beats all the other mobiles i have had i would happely have a nother one if mine brakes the camera is not very good but what do you expect it is 2mp but i have a new digital camera so it dont bother me to mutch you can download a app so you can vidio witch i have and i was going to get mine unloked but i think il stay on o2 for now. i give it a ***** 5 star rating very good it is my first iphone and not my last!!!!!!!!!!!!!
