There seem to be various versions of this toothbrush available, the IQ4000, 5000, 9500, 9900 just to name some. It would be useful to know which model you tested.

Hi I think that this is the product name but is also known in some shops as the 9900 version. I am looking at them at the moment and feel that this is essentially and old badge of the new 5000 range. Good luck

can somebody tell why the new oral b triumph 5000 is so badly design? i just bought that thing for myself and my husband and we cant use the base for it because you cant use the base without the charger being in it, so if you dont have the socket in your bathroom then you can either have a wire hanging out of your sink or not use the base and just place the head brushes in a soap tray or something, i am so annoyed with that, and there is point of contacting customer service because they dont care!!!!

Excellent brush worthy of its high rating, however it is not possible to change the batteries so after a year or two you will be forced to replace what is after all a very expensive toothbrush
