PlayStation Move

G-Rating

Rating of 0

The basics

Sony's answer to the Nintendo Wii's Remote. Like the Nintendo peripheral the PlayStation Move lets PS3 owners use the motion controller to control on-screen action via motion sensing technology. PS3 owners combine move with the PlayStation Eye camera that tracks the wand's position, along with sensors inside the wand to detect motion, before transferring those movements to the screen in relation to players movements.

This Looks Quite Good But It Still Might Have To Grow To a Higher Level Then Microsoft's Kinect.

I think that it is a really good idea, and i think that it is very compettative that they will be releasing it before Microsofts kinect. I dont think that it is unfair for the Wii, its about time someone released something to compete with the Wii, and this it that thing.

i think this will be better than kenect because kenect is basicly a fancy eye toy for £129 while a playstaion move controllers will most likey cost around £50 for a set and more accurate

its just a copycat of the will

The move may seem cheaper but the kinect can have 6 people playing at once on 1 kinect whilst the move each player will need both controllers and thus turn out more expensive

I'm wandering whether to get xbox kinect or ps3 move because the move comes with fighting games and little big planet 2, but kinect looks cool. so if u hav tried any one out tell me what u think is better cause I'm stuck. And I'm thinking maybe te kinect wont be so responsive.

I have it and its great its like having a wii and ps3 combined with far better graphics and it is not a copycat of the wii as they both started developing both wii and move at the same time only sony had to delay because they were also developing the ps3

Hi i accutuly own the playstation move and it beats the wii by far and the xbox kinect. It has amazing graphics and the reaction speed of it is amazing.

I think this is brilliant as it will now allow those who own the Playstation 3 to game like those who own a wii without having to buy the whole console. It will out do Microsoft's Kinect as the PS3 is supposedly for "non-hardcore" gamers and so less users of the xbox 360 will want such a device like Kinect. In addition, the only game that I have seen advertised for Kinect is a fitness games which, lets face it, will be unpopular with "hardcore" gamers (Xbox gamers) who play Call of Duty games all day.

Get kinect. This suffers the same fate as the wii.

Its not the same as the Wii as you have to do the action to have the effect. You actually have to swing your arm and take the shot if you're playing tennis for example. On the Wii you could just sit on your sofa and just flick the controller.

I honestly do NOT like this. I bought it as i found a good deal on ebay buying it second hand for like £22 all in. I plugged it in played a few starter games and thought umm seems oki went out and bought the fight and then i realised how uniquely bad it is. The calibration on a game takes close to 20minutes when you eventually get it done you swing like theres no tomorrow if you move off from the spot where you calibrated you lose all the calibration and need to do it all again and then when you are already peed well off due to constant calibration your completely off target. My advice save the money and buy Kinnect please dont get me wrong i absolutely LOVE my ps3 i think its brilliant in every way but move is a massive let down. In terms of my G-Rating it would only be a 1 and only 1 because i cant do it any lower.acre
