Great for kids under the age of 10 but teenagers not impressed with the graphics or lack of .The wii is designed to get people active no sure sure it works as most adults only ever use it once ! The most intuative natural control for a console (better than ps3 or xbox) but lack of proper games lets it down very very badly . The new motion -plus very good and brings a newer deeper experence to wii gaming . Lack of content in games released in line with the same game on different formats a real let down .

Apart from the odd few games, most of the Wii's titles bring people together. When I first got my Wii, me , my family and my friends would spend ages playing on the first game, Wii Sports. I still think ATI could have done better with the graphics, though. Even though it's a good family console, I've decided I've been missing out, so am buying a PS3 for all the things the wii can't do.

This is awesome! Me and my siblings have been saving up money since last christmas and we finally have it! I am very happy with its outcome. I despise violent games like medal of honour and grand theft auto so the games that can be played on this console delight me! Nintendo, please can you do a free game rental service? Then i can rent the games i like! I can't find any faults at all with the wii (but what does it stand for?)

All I have to say is there are loads of games to appeal to hardcore Nintendo fans. Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Okami, Metroid Prime Trilogy and New Super Mario Bros. Wii are but a few. And the Virtual Console has over 200 classic games from the NES to the N64. Great stuff!

i have one. i got it cause everyone else had one. i usually dont get presents so when everyone else realised it wasnt much, they got another ps3 or xbox 360. sure it plays some small games, but for people 12 like me its not much. the best game for me is probably CoD 5, and its much, much worse than on the other consoles. and it doesnt have nazi zombies. and CoD MW 2 isnt coming out for it as there is not much space on the conventional discs

I think the wii is a great gadget, and this is coming from a over 10 year old. I think the graphics are very good, but sometimes its hard to play it on the sofa because the remote wont respond. And it was a bit hard syncing the wii fit to the wii console but alltogether fantastic gadget!

I think that the wii is much better for familys but horrible for hardcore gamers and even if it has good games like call of duty world at war, call of duty moderen warfare reflex...ect it does not feel the same by the wireless remote and much harder to play with out a wii zapper. And the wifi connection to me is down right impossible it might be the broadbrand or the settings any way i still think that the wii has amazing family games and still a must buy!

The future for the Wii can ONLY! be to offer games in 3-D.. with a new console of course! Would make the wii back on top of it's game..

Great console! With its HUGE library of awsome games, both for the hardcore and casual gamer (or me, bit of both) It really does come out on top for me. All games seem to be FPS's nowadays and the wii gives you a relaxing break by giving you lush gaming with beautifully written storylines and innovative gameplay! (Don't forget brilliant artstyles and the added bonus of wiiware and catching retro gems with virtual console!) And writing this after E3 2010, it can only get better with whats in store. Kirbys epic yarn and Legend of Zelda: Skyward sword prove that you don't need shades of grey, a gun, a 18 rating and HD graphics to be an award winning game! So don't judge a console by the graphics, cus the wii's JUST AS POWERFUL!

Right. I'll start by saying that I think that Kinect and Move are very good. They are both tremendous technological achievements in their own right. But I think that Microsoft and Sony's games will be no match for Nintendo's beasts such as Zelda, Mario etc. Also, most people now already have a Wii and some will think it is not worth spending another £100 on another thing which does pretty much the same. I know it doesn't do the same but most people who buy these things are parents and they won't understand.

I don't know why so many people are disliking the wii. Recently, it has really been fun, all the family are playing a wide variety of games together and we have not yet lost interest!!! I don't feel the need to get a ps3 or x-box, the wii suits me fine

Firstly if anyone says that the PS3 isn't as good as an Xbox then they are terribly wrong, the PS3 comes with built-in Wi-Fi, and late models of the Xbox dont and as well the PS3 looking better and coming in higher GB models than the Xbox it has Blu-Ray built-in and 3D as a Bonus. SONY have worked very hard to beat there rivals Microsoft, and they certainly did! If your a gamer looking for a new console, then this is certainly the one for you, you can do anything and more, on a PS3.
