The good
This is simply the best-looking iPod, indeed the best-looking MP3 player we've ever laid eyes on. The Touch 4G is even thinner than its predecessors – any bulges have been eradicated to leave a sheer, smooth device.
The new Retina Display that it shares with the iPhone 4 is just as stunning with its crisp, clear 960×640 display – perfect for album artwork or the new Games Centre capabilities.
Indeed, the iPod Touch's new A4 processor means that it can zip though apps and gaming like never before. And there's also the addition of FaceTime – Apple's video-calling service, which looks amazing when married up with 720p HD video, the new screen and the speedy processor.
The bad
The camera on the new iPod touch is still a touch disappointing. Stills top out at a maximum of 960×720, so you won't be replacing your cam with these just yet. And the fixed focus doesn’t help matters.
The maximum capacity is a mere 64GB, so this is not for audiophiles. And the lack of FLAC support may put them off too. But then, this isn't a device designed for the audiophile market.
The bottom line
The most beautiful MP3 player we've seen, and a peerless all-rounder for music, media and gaming.

well im going to go to apple and do their price match guarantee and im buying a ipod 4g GB for £224.10 this is a good price as others are 249 so im saving 24%.

I have one of these, 32GB, and it is amazing. The camera for taking still images could be better but other than that, it's very good and I highly reccomend it.

dont make up lies yeah the ipod touch aint even a phone so how can you possibly compare it with the iphone 4.

I got the 32G 6 weeks ago and it is awesome, I never put it down. Don't need a new mobile Iphone pay as you go £400.00, just keep old phone and buy this for just over £200.00. Plus when out and about I can use my really old phone to connect to the internet with Giffgaff. So no need for "hotspots". Cheap as chips and to boot I have 87 albums on it so far, it just needs a flash for the camera, and so many free apps, games, I just can't put it down, it's so good I had to buy the wife one!!

the ipod 4g is simply amazing definatley the best ipod yet but the storage is pathetic and the camera does need improving (probaly why they bought out the new ipod!)
