Wii U: FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3 confirmed as launch titles, Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, ZombiU and more

Game publisher EA has confirmed that FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3 will be two of the first Wii U launch titles. Meanwhile, the rest of the Wii U launch titles have also been leaked, revealing heavy hitters including Assassin’s Creed 3, Rayman Legends, New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, Pikmin 3 and more to be the first games available for the Wii U when the new Nintendo console arrives in stores this Christmas.

FIFA 13 Wii U GamePad features explained: how Wii U will change the way we play football games

EA held a press conference last night, where it showed off the new FIFA 13 features including touchscreen passing and shooting, also confirming that both FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3 will be Wii U launch titles.

FIFA 13 will let players use the GamePad’s touchscreen to switch between players, shoot, aim free kicks and manage their teams. Mass Effect 3 for Wii U will also get new touchscreen controls and downloadable content.

Meanwhile, even more Wii U launch games have been leaked thanks to a photo taken by a GameStop customer in the US. The photo appears to reveal the full list of Wii U launch games.

If legitimate, the list include such titles as: Pikmin 3 and Wii Fit U, while other games listed for a “Holiday” release include Assassin’s Creed 3, ZombiU, LEGO: City Undercover, New Super Mario Bros. U, Rayman Legends, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition and more.

These games will reportedly be the first games to be released for Nintendo’s new console. If the Nintendo Wii U is to get fans excited, it will need lots of games. Which Wii U launch titles will you be picking up?
