Vodafone goes the full 360! Introducing the Vodafone 360 H1 and M1 and its new service Vodafone 360

Vodafone has just unveiled two new mobile phones, the Vodafone 360 H1 and Vodafone 360 M1, both sporting the company’s latest innovation: Vodafone 360!

First things first, the phones. The Vodafone 360 H1 has been created by Samsung and will deliver the full Vodafone 360 experience. It has a 3.5-inch multi-touch, high definition OLED screen, 720p video recording, 16GB of internal memory for storing all your bits and bobs, as well as Wi-Fi, HSDPA and Bluetooth connectivity. A five-megapixel sensor, meanwhile, will keep the pappers happy.

Voda’s also unveiled the Vodafone 360 M1: a slightly cheaper model, but no less fancy. This one sports a 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen, has 1GB of expandable memory via MicroSD card for all your snaps/music/movies, and comes with Bluetooth and HSDPA connectivity. The camera here’s only a three-megapixel offering.

And as for that Vodafone 360 service? Well that’s a new internet service for your PC and mobile that aims to bring all your friends together with a a host of social networking skills built-in.

Taking nods from what the likes of HTC, T-Mobile et al have been doing with Google, Vodafone 360 allows you to marry all your contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, and more, with Vodafone People – your contacts book.

What this means is you can share snaps, music and your location with your mates whenever and wherever. Whether it’s from your phone or computer.

The good news is that Vodafone 360 isn’t just limited to the H1 and M1. At launch it’ll be pre-loaded on four Nokia phones, but there’s a whole host of handsets that are compatible with the service. You can check out the full list on Vodafone’s website.
