Trim, trimmer: it's the Husqvarna Automower 260ACX
The Husqvarna Automower 260ACX: it mows, it texts, is there anyting it doesn't do? Yes, give us a massage
The sun’s out, the lawn’s overgrown and you’re, well, lazy. What are you going to do? Get the Husqvarna Automower 260ACX and watch as he mows your lawn for you.
Following on from the Husqvarna Solar Hybrid robo mower, the Husqvarna Automower 260ACX will do about an hour’s worth of trimming from a single charge, which should be more than enough for your acre and a half of grass. But in case it’s not, the Husqvarna Automower 260ACX will return (by itself) to its charing dock, where this lawnmower will stay for 40 minutes until fully charged.
As far as robotic mowers go, that’s all pretty standard, right? But how many robo-mowers will send you a text message to your phone if its mowing gets interrupted? Not many we’re guessing.
It’s on the market for around €4,000 (or about £3,500), which would probably be enough to hire a garden hand for a year. But where’s the fun in that?
