Toshiba laptop's got game! Toshiba gets in the game with the Toshiba Qosmio X500

Alienware’s not the only one who can make awesome gaming laptops. Toshiba’s got in on the fragging act and come up with the Toshiba Qosmio X500 – a laptop with so much gaming grunt you can almost hear the world’s gamers whoop with joy.

Onto the Toshiba Qosmio X500’s all-important specification then, and it’s sporting a whopping 18.4-inch screen that’s sizeable enough for extended sessions of WoW without your peepers feeling the strain. It’s 1080p too, so visuals will look spanking!

Elsewhere, the X500 has up to 8GB of RAM, a whopping terabyte of hard drive space, re-writable Blu-ray, a webcam, a fingerprint reader, an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250MNV to keep your graphics in order, and the bit we’re excited about, an Intel Core i7 2.8GHz processor. How’d you like them apples (and by apples we mean specs) Alienware?

All this power comes at a price, however. And that’s a starting price of £1,300 from October. Our gaming thumbs are twitching with anticipation…

I hope this notebook will not have its graphic card or VGA embeded in the motherboard like the G30 Qosmio which makes it difficult to change the VGA when it has problem unless you change the whole motherboard and this pretty expensive.
