Ahead of E3 2012 a new Tomb Raider gameplay trailer has been revealed. The latest video is another glimpse into what Tomb Raider will be like to actually play. Here’s what you need to know.
As first revealed at E3 2011 the new game, it is hoped will resurrect and reboot the series in a new adventure, darker in tone to previous Tom Raider adventures. Simply titled Tomb Raider, the game’s story will see Lara Croft stranded on an island, and left to fend for herself.

The new trailer sets the tone, with Lara Croft calling for help, before making her way past treacherous jungle obstacles and taking a tumble attempting to scale what looks like part of some wreckage.
“Mayday mayday this is Lara croft of the Endurance,” Croft is heard radioing for help. “We are stranded on an island in the Dragon’s Triangle , we need help medical supplies please respond.”
Fans will agree the trailer has a welcome whiff of the Uncharted games in look and feel. Visually Tomb Raider is looking stunning so far, but it looks like fans will be waiting a while to play. A recent delay means Tomb Raider won’t hit the shops will 2013.

No, c'mon Tomb Raider had this style of gameplay way before the Uncharted series even came out. Tomb Raider didn't copy Uncharted
