The Gadget Show is Suzi & Jason. Polyanna can't present to save her life. I doubt i'll be watching anymore after enjoying it from the beginning. It's already been going downhill in the last few series due to the focus on the challenges that are usually one sided and don't include all the best products in their catergory. Still, i suppose Jason will keep pushing Apple products and ignore others that allow more freedom ;)

Biggest mistake to lose Suzi, Otis and Jon. Jason is good with tech but Pollyanna does not come across as being that knowledgable (pretty as she is :-). Doubt I will be tuing in that often now, if at all. It certainly won't be on my Sky+ schedule anymore.

Sorry to say that I also feel the essence of the Gadget Show has been lost. Suzi, Jon and Ortis were great in the team, and being left with Jason and Polly feels like a let down. I'm not even sure I want to give it a chance, and a bit like F1 moving to Sky, I doubt I'll watch as avidly as I did for the last 7 years of the Gadget Show. Why mess with a great formula, were the viewing figures going down..? Move to HD and more gadget reviews rather than stupid challenges would have been a better plan IMHO. I guess time will tell. Just let me know when Suzi, Jon and Ortis are back..;-)

As other have already said the shows have been declining in quality over the recent series with silly challenges and poor coverage of gadgets people actually want to buy. This latest change will narrow the content even further and end up being a travel show which happens to include some gadgets! Pollyanna is far too one dimensional and has little real character. John and Suzi added the depth and character that gave the show the depth it needed. Time for the BBC to resurrect Tomorrow's World and show Five how it should be done!

I have to agree with most of the comments left on this forum. I believed the last serials was get long and very boring with all the challenges this show was at it best showing all the latest gadgets, but now getting rid of 3 presenters will be a mistake. As pretty as Pollyanna is I don`t think she brings the same appeal as Suzie, as for Otis he brought the humor with Jason and John was like the the Ref . I think this is the wrong move by channel 5 and time will tell but reading most of the comments all of them can not be wrong. Will I be watching IM not to sure but you have to watch the program to pass judgment I don't think Jason and Pollyanna will be able to pull it off no matter how good Jason is at presenting

Gutted who on earth thought this was a good idea!! I've watched every series and except a few one off accidental misses I've watched every show. Jason, Suzi and Jon are The Gadget show fact. Otis and Polly are part of the team. I beleve there is a fundamental error and the show may fail as a result of this change and I don't want this to happen. I've read a few posts and I would say people ain't happy. I beleve the show needs to evolve but in my opinion this is not the correct option. Less emphasis on challenges and more reviews maybe, Otis and Polly could of taken a less active roll? I have nothing against Jason or Polly.

I agree with all sides to these posts and yes it really won't be the same as having all 5 of them but I'm a fan who's been watching from the very start of the show so I'll still be tuning in to it but I can predict that you'll lose most of your original viewers, but at the same time gain some from over countries. I just don't mind much what you pick to do with the show but as long as you keep everyone (all 5 presenters)!!!!!!!!! Making shows like this is like a music artist making albums; if they're all the same, eventually they won't sell. They needed to do something drastically different. It's a bold move but the show needs to be aired to see if it works. For what it's worth, Jason has not just been the backbone of this show but other ventures I've been involved with myself, and behind the scenes as dedicated and professional as they come. Pollyanna's career is pretty young and so far I think she's doing a good job. By all means be hyper critical, but the superstar presenters you're looking for are very rare indeed. Turn to Sky and see who they're employing; in the grand scheme of things, she's pretty good by comparison!

I cannot believe the news. Sad, very very sad. I'm not sure if the channel 5 bosses really understand what made the show successful in the first place. Granted the challenges were becoming predictable and boring. It needed to move on, but the format not the stars. The success was always the gadgets and the presenters. Too much time was spent on the challenges and recent competition format. It was better to see their gadget comparison reviews instead. The line-up that included Suzi, John and Ortis was a great team setup and worked well, I thought. So this is the end of another tv show series messed up by penny-pinching executives who've not got a clue in keeping a good series going. Lost another viewer here too I'm afraid to say. Bring the others back and broadcast it in HD and I may watch again.

The best presenter were Suzi, Jon and Jason, the others were good but did not have the same connection. Suzi was by far the best presenter - very good at reporting and reading the other comments on this thing will be missed. The format of the show worked - do we want to see two people travel around looking at gadgets NO, we like the gadgets yes but also the testing and the challenges that Suzi did. Jon reports were good as well and he knew how to present also. I wish the show well but without Suzi and Jon I shall not watch anymore - think you have lost a lot of viewers with bad choice of new format. Shame that Suzi and Jon have been axed, they were the best presenters. Maybe they will set up their own show on Channel 4. A new show with Suzi and Jon and Otis on Channel 4. 5 has messed with a good show. Channel Five, You have gone completely mad, do you not understand your viewers, we not only watch for the gadgets we also watch for the presenters, Jon= the sensible one who you can rely on to bring you well presented articles about products in real life. Jason & Suzi= challenges, the on screen chemistry could be bottled and sold. By all means get rid of Otis and Pollyanna, as they don't really bring any thing to the table. I don't know how much you are paying your show creators, but they should all be sacked, you just have to look at the comments to see you have shot your selves in the foot.

After reading most of the comments on here, I wholeheartedly agree that channie 5 should maybe have done some market research, ie: talk to the viewers before making such a bold and in my opinion stupid move by axing three of the backbone characters of the show. They will be sorely missed by the majority of the viewers for sure. It would be great to see Tomorrows World return to the BBC who value their presenters with Suzi, Jon and Otis. And maybe if Jason has any sense, he should dump channel 5 to join them and maybe bring Pollyanna with him cos she's lovely to look at. Its a shame to break up a great team, especially Suzi as she's been there from day 1. One of her nicknames is FLOG:- First Lady Of Gadge. As much as I like Polly she will never be FLOG. I'll watch the first show to see how it goes, but if its mainly challenge based (as I think) then I doubt I'd watch many after. You never know, Suzi, Jon and Ortis could return in the next series. Look what happened when they changed the time and day of the last series, C5 caved to public pressure and re-instated the normal time. Fingers crossed for the next series!!

I can only echo the sentiments of the other comments here, this is a mistake of giant proportions, to get rid of Jon would have been a ridiculous decision on it's own, his sensible approach and flawless delivery of his pieces on the show were excellent, but to get rid of Ortis, who has fitted into the show like a glove, his humour, approachable style and of course his athletic prowess with some of the more physically intensive testing will surely be missed. But then to top it all and get rid of Suzi is just absolutely absurd, she was the main reason a huge amount of people watched the show, not only is she beautiful, she has the most engaging manner, and it is obvious she researches every single thing she is given to do meticulously, so that you feel she has told you everything she can about the gadget in hand, for instance, the piece she did where she compared budget tablets stopped me making a very costly mistake, and coming from her, gave the viewer the confidence that her conclusions were always sound. The Gadget Show did need revamping, but only by getting shot of the tiresome challenges, and getting back to demonstrating and testing the gadgets in the environment they are going to be used, NOT by sending the increasingly clown like Jason Bradbury, and the pretty, but otherwise inferior in every way to Suzi, Pollyanna, seriously, does anyone think she is anywhere near as capable presenter as any of those she is staying on for? From what I can see of the trailer, the programme seems to be only about sending a few people around the world to have a right old laugh at Channel Five and the three former presenter's expense. I suppose I am not watching the clips in context, but what the hell does Polly being trussed up in a silly costume, getting drivers to honk their horns at her have to do with gadgets, or testing of gadgets, what does having her dress up in a skimpy outfit and dancing in the street have to do with gadgets, no doubt to test the HD capabilities of a camera or some such thing, something that could be done back in the studio, with more competent presenters. If I wanted to watch a spoof Baywatch routine, I would search for a thousand similar ones on Youtube. Racing down a hill on a powered skateboard, well that will be so handy in real life won't it, sarcasm intended. Have we not already seen a water jet machine tested by Polly in the last series, I suppose sticking Jason in it makes all the difference, and will of course help make the show less 'tired'. I have watched this show religiously since day one, but this has left a very nasty taste in the mouth, and one that not watching the new show might cure. And finally, I hope Jason and Polly are reading these comments, of course their is no sentiment in the world of TV, but I hope you feel bad about 'embracing the new format' to use PollyAnna's words, I am not surprised you have embraced it, travelling around the world laughing and giggling is what most would call a very good job, and does not require much skill really does it. Jason, I hope you are happy letting Suzi get cast adrift, you know the one you have spent seven years presenting with, because I am sure you could have handled this differently, instead of just saying the show had got tired and needed to change, I hope someone gives them a show of their own show and that it trumps this sorry one into the ground.

Saw the full team at gsl and it demonstrated how well they worked together. I'm sure there are budget constraints and artistic differences but fundamentally the core works. Please see why sky have commissioned gadget geeks ( copying best form of flattery). I shall miss the old / newish team but look forward to the new format. Checked this site to see when the Gadget Show was returning and very dissappointed three excellent presenters are not featuring in the next series. I have found the challenges a bit overbearing at times but have stuck with it since the programme through its various restylings since mid series one.The 'gadget show competition house' was dropped so hopefully the producers will have a change of heart, soon. Given the worldwide recession I guess the speed of innovation and release of new products have declined so there is less product news to tell. Click has been more informative of late, the Sky offering is very poor. I suspect I will give it a go but soon find something more interesting to do on Mondays. Shame.

Channel 5 have lost the plot, why break something that wasn't broken. Losing Suzi, John and Otis will spell the end of this great program. I'm sure they will lose viewers and so drop the show due to low ratings. Come on channel 5 listen to the viewers and bring back the famous 5!!!

Just seen the promo for the new show and have to say it looks like utter garbage!. The show's been going downhill for a while now mainly due to the amount of stupid challenges and lack of actual product reviews. The show should of gone back to basics and had 3 presenters reviewing current and upcoming gadgets and tech without the over dramatised challenges that offered nothing. Like many on here I won't be watching.

It just goes from bad to worse. Bad enough that when Richard Desmond bought the channel, he dragged it straight back to how it was when it started as a cheap and cheerful channel, but made it cheap and nasty in the process. But now, one of the best programmes that FIVE created has been wrecked. The Gadget Show's dream presenting team is Jason, Suzi and Jon. There's been great chemistry between Jason and Suzi, which is why I've always enjoyed the challenges and the rivalry between them. Jon with his background on original Top Gear was great at the group tests and Ortis proved surprisingly great as the newbie and Polly was OK, but she can be extremely annoying. The World tour format means that this forthcoming series won't actually have any real product reviews or comparisons of new gadgets. It'll just be yet another, "Oh look at the gadgets they've got in this country, that the UK hasn't got yet." It feels like this format change has been brought in so that the series can be sold to Dave and repeated ad infinitum without worry of it becoming outdated.

I am gutted about this news. I have just been to the Gadget Show Live and I had no idea at the time they had got rid of the other presenters. They all worked so well together. I don't know how they managed to keep smiling. Otis is great, he signed my sons ticket. I hope they put them all back together again, however, if not then I think another Channel ought to nick them and have a new show. Jon, Jason, Suzy and Otis are great together, Poly I won't miss.

Oh dear. Channel 5 have managed to ruin another great show. I have nothing against Jason and Polly, but the fact that you have ditched 3 of the presenters will mean that the content looses its variety and the competitiveness and friendship between the presenters is lost. Also you've ditched the studio which now means that the show isn't going to have anywhere that it is 'officially presented from, and makes it more of a formal documentary than the fun, comedic, but informative show that it once was. This is possible the WORST decision a TV programme has EVER MADE. (as like - almost as bad as if the BBC ditched terry wogan for children in need) And I mean that. And as a result, like most people have put in their comments, they will not be watching the show as a form of protest. Hopefully because of the protests and the loss of viewers, after this series Five will go back to the original format. And the studio has also gone (Gadget Show Live Magazine pg 39) it won't look or feel like the gadget show. The studio was the Gadget Show, and so where Jason Jon Suzi Ortis and Pollyanna. I'm sure that the presenters will be upset because (a) half of them don't have a job and (b) becuase they aren't working with the people that they have spent 8 years working with almost every day of the week I will watch the show on Monday, because the content sounds quite good but it still wont be the same with out Suzi Jon and Ortis. And now that they have all left this means that (if they do one) Gadget Show Live 2013 wont be very good, especially the Super theatre> I hope the producers actually think about what they do next time before just scapping 3/5 of the presenters. THINK AGAIN CHANNEL 5. Big mistake. BBC - bring back Tomorrows World!! The Gadget SHow was always the TV that I looked forwards to, and now its practitcally been riuned. Sort it out Five. I Say No More.

I`m Just wondring do the producers or CH5 read these commets that Ive left as well as others ? As we had no comments from the producers explaning why this has happen we can guess but why have CH5 done this I hope we get a explanation. I was hoping Pollyanna was going to disappear after a frankly rubbish performance in the last series, but to keep her and loose the excellent John Bentley, Suzi and Ortis? The Gadget Show: World Tour does look entertaining and I wish Jason, Polly et al luck with it. However, it simply isn't The Gadget Show that we all know and love. If C5 wanted to test out the new format then why wasn't it done between normal TGS series, or in parallel with it (i.e. TGS on Mondays, TGS:WT on Thursdays)? If the intention was to improve the show then would it really have been so hard to canvas viewers for feedback to find out what gadget fans really wanted from the show? As it is C5 have ditched a long running, successful and much loved show, broke up the team and gambled on a new format. C5 should know better re: ditching successful formats. After all, it's from the ashes of BBC's old Top Gear that C5's Fifth Gear was born. Let's hope someone resurrects TGS. If not C5 then some other channel.

Loook guys, they clearly have pollyanna and jason in the show cause pollyanna is new and so probably has some contract or something for afew years, and they had to keep the best as well so that meant deciding jason instead of all of them and to channel 5- cut backs cost us all, but im willing to bet that flying 2 presenters around the world in hotels etc is more expensive than running the normal show. oh, and btw, we dont want a travel programme, we want gadgets...will not be watching this show, its just another failed program because of a dramatic change that didnt work out.

Been a viewer since episode one. They had a great show, with a devoted following and a really good rapport between the regular hosts that kept people tuning in. What more do you need? This move willl just alienate the long existing viewers, but will probably not attract many new ones : those who wished to watch a progam of this kind were already watching! The Gadget Show was the only decent tech show on TV - it's not as if there was any real competition driving this change. Why this need to re-invent the wheel? Disaster. A great show ruined.

This is the same mistake as putting Mary-Anne Ochota on Time Team. Gadget Show fans want personality and knowledge not just someone who looks great but freeks out when testing tech. The interpaly between Jason and Suzi made the show, and Jon was like James May to Clarkson and Hammond. Listen to the fans or this show is DEAD.

I can't believe what you've done to my beloved gadget show.I had my doubts when you introduce Otis into the lineup but it seemed to work. Bringing Pollyanna on board was a step too far as far as presenting is concerned. She's hardly another Suzi Perry. Eye candy yes but presenter no. To get rid of the backbone of the show in the form of Jon Bentley and Suzi Perry is absolutely ridiculous. I've watched these shows from the beginning but I won't be watching any longer. You've lost your mind if you think this is going to improve the show. Bring back Jon, Suzi, Jason and Otis. Sack the blonde airhead Pollyanna and put the show back to a format that worked. Watching the show and can personally say that it has lost all the chemistry it once had. Pollyanna and Jason just don't click together like Jason and Otis, along with Suzi and Jon did. The Gadget Show is ALL FIVE presenters who all complement each other and have there individual ways of presenting. Channel 5 don't be scared to re visit your decision and get the The Team and old format back. Trust me you sell out the NEC next year with GSL. I've been reading all these reviews. Where does it say that suzy, ortis and john have been dropped from the gadget show? i haven't seen it! I went to gadget show live the other week, i had a feeling there was something going on. the live show wsnt as good as last years. ( I love Ortis. he's so sexy!) when we were leaving the NEC Suzy, Ortis and Jason were coming in. Ortis and Jason both spoke to us but Suzy went past with her nose in the air! so i had a feeling she wasn't happy. Maybe C5 couldn't afford to send them all abroad for these shows. they're be back next time don't worry!

Unbelieveable TV producers have no clue. We loved the 5 presenters they made the show. The new format is terrible. I have watched it since the very first episode and my kids have grown up with it. They were the first to leave the room tonight after the first adverts came in. All 3 kids just got up and went outside to play! I came in and wondered what had happened? they never miss an episode. When i asked them they said "its been trashed and some people were missing. its no fun anymore". I went in to watch and they were right, my god even students could have produced a better show. Well Chnl 5 Im no longer watching, my kids are no longer watching and judging by the number of post here and around the web you have in one hour upset a great many people. Just watched the new Gadget Show ! My son & I, viewers from episode 1 were left silent with dissapointment. The new presenting style has no connection with the viewer, and one of the best things about the show, the chemistry and interplay between the other (missing) presenters is gone. Insead we're left with Jason & the game but charisma deficit Polly. C5 have ruined the best show they ever had. Gadget Show R.I.P !!!!

Well, another good show completely destroyed. What complete rubbish. Won't be watching again, now there is nothing on channel 5 worth watching at all. As said before the chemistry between the other presenter has just gone. Seems like even the gadget show has been dumded down. Having posted my serious reservations about what this new format might hold back in when it was first announced I've now watched the first episode and have to say it not a bad as I had feared. Oh no. It was much much WORSE. Truly excrable. An outright case of glossy fluff over any meaningful content. I rather enjoyed the more frivilous items on the original format, balanced with reviews of things I might want, or at least dream of owning. But whole show based on it? No thanks, I'll pass from now on.

I have nothing against Pollyanna she just there due to her contract etc and her looks, Pollyanna can not present in my option I watched GSL on you tube and she so one dimensional and brings nothing to the show The new format will not change it will just fade out. Pollyanna will have her fans due to her looks but most of us tune in to watch a program about Gadgets not just looking at Pollyanna. I've watched and loved the show from the very first episode, but no more. We've known from her first appearance that Polly has nothing to offer but her looks, and this was tolerable when she was surrounded by the presenting talent and experience that is Suzi, Jon and Jason. But without them TGS is just dreadful. But listen guys its not too late. Here's the solution, just say this was a one-off 'special' series and that the normal format will return. SIMPLES!

Well Ken, you must be easily pleased then, if you are happy with a show that is about gadgets, testing just three camcorders and a couple of laptop bags, then that is up to you. I did give it a chance myself, and my fears were almost totally realised about it, Pollyanna has been kept on for eye candy status, despite the producers protestations on the Digital Spy forum, that she is intelligent and really knows her stuff, within five minutes, the show does her no favours at all by 'reluctantly' (yeah right!!) sticking her in a skimpy costume to be filmed prancing childishly around, while being filmed rather creepily at times by Jason, even up the skirt in a couple of shots, with the rather pathetic twist that all the camcorders came from Japan, as that was where they were filming, I am quite sure other country's camcorders are sold there too, so there is no reason why they could not have done the same test back in Birmingham for far less cost. Same with the laptop bags, nice feature on the virtual concert, unfortunately very light on how it is achieved, and then the rest of the show given over to the rather boring robot wrestling, which could have been drastically cut down. Don't get me started on the driving round Tokyo, with the rather bizarre surprise on Jason's face, that the sat nav was in Japanese, in a Japanese car on the streets of Tokyo!! Did not like the sterile past the camera 'interviews', lifeless and dull, totally at odds with the old team discussing the gadgets with gusto in the studio. And what the hell was the competition about, nearly 7 minutes of just announcing the list of tech...poor beyond belief filler, and at £2 a pop entry, you can stuff that too. What did I like..um..not very much, if that makes me a moaner I could not care less, all I know is I could spend an hour of my time on something far more entertaining than this. Next week, testing 3D TV's on the back of a boat, good grief...

What a big mistake ch5 has made ,i have watched the gadget show from the beginning ,but alas no more, Jason is a brill presenter but polly is just terrible,should never have got rid of suzi,ortis and john,i hope they do what a certain mr clarkson done and go to a new station and start a new show which we can all enjoy again.

What a shame. The producers have ruined a really great show. I have nothing at all against Jason and Polly (I think they are great!), but the team doesn't feel complete. The format has moved too far from what we knew and loved. Is this why Sky launched Gadget Geeks? Did they hear about the format change and smell blood in the water? Sadly, it is lame too, so I am left without any gadget-flavoured show to love... I won't be watching Gadget Show any more. Very sad...

Channel 5's producers did the worst thing ever by getting rid of Jon, Otis and the Beautiful Suzi. I, like a hell of a lot of other people, will not be watching the Gadget Show any more. It's just not as golf as it used to be.

The new format is not as interesting or entertaining as the old format. The reality show take on the show is just atrocious! And just having two presenters makes it kind of flat and less dynamic. Not saying that the format didn't need reinventing, but this was a really bad way of reinventing it.

Hate the new format, phoney interview type bits to camera are amateurish and very low budget, the product values are going downhill rapidly, no idea what the budget is these days but ver little new tach has been on show so far just expensive travel and the competition slot seems to get longer every series. The show only works if it has Jon, Jason & Suzi. Ortis is a great addition but Pollyanna is bland and I don't know anyone who likes her as a TV personality or presenter, she doesn't seem to have much to say or much knowledge, whereas the other are either proper journalists or love their gadget. I'm sure Polly is lovely but she's not for this sort of show. She's too lightweight and it's obvious she was brought in as the new eye candy. The only show I watched on Five has now made me turn off. The show has slipped the past two series, in production values and I say this as someone who could be counted as one of the original viewers and a huge fan, it was my must see show of the week, and as someone in the TV/film industry. So gutted.

AGREE AGREE & AGREE with the majority of the comments. I actually thought the world tour was a one off before the Gadget show started properly. I did watch 2 episodes and it's now fallen off my viewing list. I can't think of any programme I now watch on this channel. I read one suggestion that the axed team should try and move to a new show on BBC, is there a producer out there that has the vision to create a TV programme with Suzy, Jon, Otis, Jason & let Poly join as well? How about BBC taking Click and moving it mainstream? (PS I hate to say it but when Poly came onto the show I did think that Suzy should watch out, younger model being drafted in and all that. I'm sure I wasn't the only one, but given all the comments maybe the producers should re-think.)

Watched the start of one and didn't think much of it. Gadgets that are priced well out of normal peoples pockets, Polly and Jason's pieces to camera are really rubbish. It should be 'Lets Have A Jolly Show'. Another Gadget Show viewer that wont be watching.

After hearing that the rest of the crew had been dropped i was abit shocked, as it has always worked,specially Suzi and Otis! Anway BIG MISTAKE C5 as i give the new "on tour" episode and tobe completly honest is absolutely rubbish!! I dont know why you would change something that worked fine.... Awful new format. The apex of the show was the chemistry between Jason, Otis and Suzy with the more serious John to add some journalistic weight to the reviews. All it needed was less world travel and more concentration on the gadgets combined with a little more emphasis on the future research and academics behind the new tech. Polly has always been wooden and she cannot hide the dislike the rest of the team have with her. The new format is taking the worst of the gadget show and hoping it would work. What were C5 thinking. Fire some producers. Fire Pollly and relaunch quickly.

I watched this new series to give it a chance and it's rubbish. Old format was much better and I miss the old presenters. Gutted as I used to love this show!Bring back the other presenters and change the format back. If you want to improve then feature more tech reviews than the silly challenges.

Colin Preston - you certainly were not the only one who thought that. I was quite worried that the producers were trying out some fresh faced blonde eye candy before giving Suzy the shove. TV can be so fickle and superficial when it comes to women. I'm with the majority here, i've been a loyal fan from the very beginning, barely ever missed an episode. Jason, Suzy and Jon made that show what it was. The chemistry between them (especially Jason & Suzy) was as much the show as the gadgets. Nothing against Ortis and Pollyanna but they simply are not as capable or as interesting as the others. Mere eye candy. Clearly this is Polly's role in TGSWT. She is Jason's pretty side kick. On paper that might work to a TV exec but it seems, that like me, TGS viewers have been completely savy toward this. Judging from all these negative comments, Channel 5 have misjudged The Gadget Show audience. We are not the stereotypical male viewer who values a pretty face over substance. It is true that the show was getting a little stale and a revamp was needed however this is too drastic and keeps some of the worst and tired aspects to the show. The loss of the team is a travesty and in particular, for me, the absence of the wonderful Suzy Perry. The Gadget Show World Tour is no where near as entertaining or as informative as the original format, its a dumbed down poorer version and suffers greatly for it. Also the on screen chemistry between Jason and Polly is non existent and that which is there seems forced ...it simply does't work. I echo that which others here have already said. The Gadget Show was the only thing i watched on channel 5. I will greatly miss it. They have lost a viewer.

Im blown away by the negative comments...well every comment and how many there are..a big and loyal fanbase for the show. its ovious that the rebranding of the gs is a complete and utter disaster..good shows run on relationships with the presenters, and this was one of the only shows on mainstream tv that had that, very hard to achieve..along comes some exec in a channel 5 meeting one day who desnt understand the show or its viewers and rips it apart, what a idiot move in such a competative field..i hope they read all of the comments..the show is a mess..viewers are switching off, you want a great successfull show channel 5 then its for the taking..or leave it as this and it will limp to a early death. The rebranding has been a disasterous mistake..you still have the chance to wind it back....so what will you do?

Gadget Show producers where looking for new presenters anyway, Otis and Polly where brought in as possible replacements. Otis is not a patch on Jason, but Suzy health and other commitments probably opened the door for Pollyanna, along with her friendship with Otis. Jon obviously is still associated with the show in some way but he is the only one of the 3 I really miss from the show and I have seen almost every edition since it started. Another point worth noting is that the show sponsors are streamlining there business and may have had a significant influence on the decision

just seen my first show in a long time, not good. how can the show have presence without the professorly analysis of Jon, team challenges are out the window without Otis and NO SUZY? she seemed to bring it all together, so professionally. So what's to be enjoyed? stupid stunts like earphones testing in a moving ball of water??? what use is that to Joe public who if ur like me use earphones on public transport to help block out undesirables. I'm sure Jon would have given as good an analysis as any choir master but without him the reccommendations ate based on likes and dislikes. You can't make white goods interesting, they have never been interesting so having Jason down to his underpants sat reading, Polly loosely dressed with a nod to those looking for her attributes just doesn't help, a quick spiel by Jon with stats. chemical formulas would have suited me. Another program has lost its most prized assets, but I feel sorry for Carol Ridgeway caught in two realities and both with stuck with the all new gadget show!! Poor you Carol!!!

What a shame the programmers thought the format needed changing. It was evident that Polly wasn't even closr to the calibre of the other presenters during the prevous seasons. Is that why they had to go, so she didn't look so bad? I used to watch every episode but after attempting to watch a few times this series am giving it a big miss.

Where has all the other presenters gone? The show is terrible now. Pollyana is a terrible presenter, and I think Suzi should be brought back. It used to be so good when it was the 4 of them, now its only 2 and its pretty bad. Pollyana isn't as good as Suzi! WE WANT SUZI, OTIS AND JOHN BACK!!!

Well start of another season of the gadget show and I have to say a massive well done to the team you have brought back the no.1 show back to channel 5 BUT. I still think Pollyanna is no good and did not enjoy the flying car or her presenting skills totaly waste of time talking of camera and just a nice trip for her sorry polly but i just doint think you fit into the my gadget show. Its was great to see jon back and the new team member rachel riley or thats missing now is otis and we have lost suzi so let support the new team i will be watching
