Sony Xperia S unleashed in silver
The Sony Xperia S impressed with its super sharp screen and excellent camera when it debuted earlier this year, and now it’s back for more. A flashy new silver version has landed on the Japanese mobile company’s official blog, and it’s headed our way.
The “dark silver” Sony Xperia S will join the existing black model, giving a much more subtle granite look to the super fast, 1.5GHz 4.3-inch Android phone. While the news will be of little use to existing Xperia S owners, it could tempt more people to make the jump from their current handset. The matte black finish on the Xperia S was a bit of a letdown compared to what’s inside it, picking up fingerprints like an actor on CSI. With any luck, the silver Sony Xperia S will stay a bit more polished.

Sadly, we don’t know when the new silver Sony Xperia S will launch, or even if it will make it to Blighty, but the company says that it’s “about to arrive” so we’ve got our fingers crossed.
