Sony outs stylish Cyber-shot trio: DSC-WX50, WX70, TX200V
Not letting the advancement of super-snapping camera-phones lessen its enthusiasm, Sony has outed a trio of stylish compact cameras with the sort of features still to make it to the mobile phone.
Chief among them is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200V – a very thin 18.2-megapixel camera featuring Sony’s latest photo-taking technology and skills up its sleeves to take some great shots.
The 18.2 megapixel camera uses an Exmor R CMOS sensor, and has a wide-angle 26mm 5x optical zoom lens. Sony claims that its BIONZ processor can capture video with very little noise, in full high definition 1080p at 60 frames per second. Its housing even lets you take underwater shots up to 16 feet in depth.

Sony also revealed two more nifty-looking picture shooters. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX70 and Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 both include a 16.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor with 25mm 5x optical zoom lenses, take 12-megapixel stills during video capture and records HD video footage in 1080i .
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200V, Cyber-shot DSC-WX70 and Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 will each arrive in stores sometime in March in silver, red and violet finishes. UK pricing has not been confirmed, but as a guide, U.S prices range from $200 for the Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 to $500 for the Cyber-shot DSC-T200V.
