Sony admits PlayStation Move games 'Not so great'
Sony’s PlayStation Move was intended to be the next big thing to hit the platform but it looks like the technology hasn’t truly reached it’s potential. At least, that’s the opinion of one Sony UK managing director. Read on to find out his candid thoughts and why PlayStation Move games are currently ‘not so great’.
Fergal Gara, who just happens to be VP and MD for Sony UK has been speaking to the Official PlayStation Magazine and freely admitted that the company ‘could have done a better job’ with the games that were launched to support the technology. He went on to say that the range of applications Move offered was ‘probably not so great’.

It’s interesting to note that Gara sees Move as a technology better suited to the casual gamer rather than the hardcore fan, as you can see from the full statement: ‘What I’m thinking is that it’s better suited towards the casual market, certainly, but we also are pretty clear that we could have done a better job on the titles we’ve had and we’ve brought to market for the PlayStation Move.
‘As you’ve said, great tech, probably not so great applications so far. So there’s a job for us to do on the strength of games, and having seen what’s forthcoming gives me great hope that we can do a better job with Move as we look forward. So we’re certainly not forgetting about it.’
On the plus side, he went on to say that the technology is still being worked on, so it sounds like Sony hasn’t finished with Move yet so we should see some pretty interesting developments coming in the next few months.
If you got a chance to re-invent Move for the PlayStation what would you do with it? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below.

I don't think any move or wii based game is for the serious gamer. Only people who can't handle ten buttons on a handset controller I'm glad I got my ps move set free off Sonycard and didn't shell out a penny House of the dead 3 is good for it though so I've relegated it for bog standard light gun games.
