Samsung Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue finally arriving 22nd June

Did you pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S3? Was it the Pebble Blue version? If so – good news. Following delay to blue and white versions, the blue Galaxy S3 smartphone will finally arrive in UK stores on 22nd June.

A shipping delay caused the Samsung Galaxy S3 32GB white, and 16GB pebble blue versions to be late on arrival, while other customers got their device on 30th May.

The good news is the pebble blue edition looks like arriving later this month. Staff at one of Samsung’s flagship stores in London’s Stratford told The Inquirer that its first batch of pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S3 handsets will arrive on June 22nd.

The blue edition will be available to purchase from £499.99 SIM-free. Meanwhile it appears that Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u have sent out their own pebble blue editions to those who got their pre-orders in early.

Not all customers have received their Galaxy S3. For those that have not, the above stores have not revealed how much stock they are likely to get hold off, so for now it looks like a case of sitting tight and hoping for the best.

Last week we asked you whether you were affected. Reader Simon was informed of the delay just one day before he was due to pick up his own Samsung Galaxy S3. In his case acknowledged that the delay wasn’t his preferred network Vodafone’s fault, but said “earlier notification” in alerting customers to the delay would have helped.

Meanwhile fellow reader Paul Power had to wait over an hour his local phone retailer to open, only to be told of the shipping delay. Delay to the blue Galaxy S3 echoes similar problems that affected the white iPhone 4 last year.
