Samsung Galaxy S3: official unveil on 3 May?
Samsung has officially confirmed that it will be showing off the new Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone at a London event on 3 May. An invitation was sent out to UK press with an image of what looks like the new phone, accompanied by the message: “Come and meet the next galaxy.” It is most certainly the Samsung Galaxy S3.
The Central London event will be the first place to see the Samsung Galaxy S3, bringing an end to the rumours that have so far accompanied one of the year’s most-anticipated smartphones.
Along with the HTC One X, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be two of 2012’s hottest handsets whether or not Apple releases an iPhone 5 later this year. So, what are we expecting from the Samsung Galaxy S3?
Reports have so far indicated a slimmer phone with a 4.3-inch display, the latest Android 4.0 operating system (which is guaranteed) and a 12-megapixel camera with full HD video recording. A quad-core processor is also tipped, following apparent confirmation earlier in the year.
Still, there is only one way to find out for sure, and that’s at the 3 May event, where we will finally discover what the Samsung Galaxy S3 is made of. Bring it on. Is the Samsung Galaxy S3 at the top of your list? Or are you waiting (and hoping) for the iPhone 5?
