Samsung DA-E750 wooden wireless hi-fi dock streams Samsung Galaxy S3 & iPhone tunes

Samsung’s DA-E750 is a wooden wireless docking system that uses vacuum tube technology, glass fibre speakers and a powerful subwoofer to deliver up to 100 watts of pure audio. Samsung Galaxy S3 owners will be able to dock their device into it to stream music, but iPhone owners need not look away – the DA-E750 works with iOS devices, too. It’s a classy bit of kit due to arrive in the UK from 18 June. More details this way.

The glossy varnished wood finish of the Samsung DA-E750 is a bit of a departure from the myriad shiny black and silver gadgets you see everyday, and not necessarily the sort of gadget one would associate with Samsung. But lo and behold, the Samsung DA-E750 is a classical beauty that looks like it could have been made from a hi-fi specialist.

Built for the audio-addict, the DA-E750 uses Samsung’s new vacuum technology to promise what it claims to be warmer, more natural sound than conventional audio systems. The DA-E750 is able to work wirelessly to stream tunes from both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple devices such as iPod Touch or iPhone using AllShare and working with Apple’s AirPlay technology.

The Samsung DA-E750 will also work with other music players that support Bluetooth 3.0 or above. A USB port also lets you plug them in via a wired connection, should you prefer to do so.

Seen above is the varnished-wood finish. Should the Samsung DA-E750 clash with your existing room arrangement, then fear not – a piano black version will also be available in the UK from 18 June.

Pricing for the Samsung DA-E750 has yet to be confirmed. Till then, circle that date in your gadget calendar.
