Razer Ouroboros: ultimate gaming mouse for lefties and righties

Not all gaming mice are worth getting excited about, but not all gaming mice look like the Razer Ouroboros. Looking more like a Transformer robot than a PC accessory, this wireless mouse is ambidextrous, making it suitable for both lefties and righties.

The awkwardly-named Razer Ouroboros is built with ergonomics and customisation in mind. It’s built so that whoever uses the wireless mouse, will experience a comfortable gaming experience.

Its spine extends back to prevent having to arch your fingers around it too much, also making it more suitable for larger hands. The back also arches up, further extending the overall size of the Ouroboros wireless mouse.

Interchangeable side panels lend more customisation for left and right-handed players. Eleven programmable buttons, and a laser sensor with an 8200 DPI sensitivity deliver extra functionality and the kind of responsiveness needed for gaming.

The extra comfort should make for a comfy experience during marathon gaming sessions. Fully charged, Razer promises a 12-hour battery life. Regular AA batteries will also work.

The Razor Ouroboros does come at a price, mind. Out at the end of the year, the Razer Ouroboros will cost $130 (around £84). Consider it the luxury gaming PC accessory for the PC gamer that has everything.

One thing will make this unfriendly to real PC gamers. It's wireless. Real gamers use wired controllers

It's "ambiconnecting" as well, you can choose freely wired or wireless mode.
