Want to get your hands on a shiny new PlayStation Vita? Good news. The Wi-Fi-only version is now available for just £169 on both Play.com and Amazon.co.uk. The Vita’s games might be pricey, but if you’re looking for the most complete, and console-like portable gaming experience around, the Vita comes well recommended.
Exclusive Dark Knight Rises content for Virgin Media TiVo
With the Dark Knight Rises, everyone’s going bat crazy. That’s why Virgin Media has paired up with TiVo to release an exclusive app offering customers exclusive images and interviews from the stars of the film that’s got everyone talking. Customers will find the app exclusively on the Apps and Games section on TiVo.
Text messages more popular than calls
It seems we don’t like to talk to each other anymore. But that doesn’t mean gadget fans are an unsocial bunch. We just prefer to text, as texting overtakes mobile phone calls for the first time ever according to an Ofcom Communications report. Do you text more than you call?
Pure Stream technology also works with Android phones
Pure this week unveiled its Pure Stream technology that uses DLNA to enable wireless streaming to any Pure Stream compatible device. A Pure Lounge Android or iOS app will let you stream to smartphones and tablets. Pure Stream will be available int he news few days via an update to the Pure Lounge apps from Google play, or the App Store.
