PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Tekken's Heihachi confirmed

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is Sony’s fist-fighting answer to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros., coaxing together PlayStation’s most-loved characters, and forcing them to do battle. Like Smash Bros. It looks a lot of fun, pitting the likes of Uncharted’s Nathan Drake against God of War’s Kratos. Now Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima joins the fray.

A new trailer was revealed at the EVO 2012 gaming tournament over the weekend, confirming that Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima and Japanese character Toro Inoue will be added to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s growing list of characters.

New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters confirmed

Heihachi retains the original moves and combat style as seen in the Tekken series, and will be able to chain combos as seen in the Tekken games. Toro Inoue, who also appeared in Street Fighter X Tekken once again brings a crazy and unique fighting style to the arena. See them both in action in the trailer below.

Other confirmed characters appearing in Sony’s new fighting game include Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, BioShock’s Big Daddy, God of War’s Kratos and PaRapper the Rapper.

Which characters would you like to see in Sony’s new brawler. Can it better Nintendo’s Smash Brothers as the ultimate party fighting game?

We’d like to see LittleBigPlanet’s SackBoy taking on Crash Bandicoot. Got any more suggestions?
