Pioneer X-SMC3-S Music Tap Airplay: Music for your iPhone, iPad

The new Pioneer X-SMC3-S is a sleek-looking stereo system that works with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to deliver music to the whole room using Apple’s Airplay feature that lets you stream music from Apple devices wirelessly.

Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S sounds like another great way to listen to free your ears from headphones, and unleash your private music collection around the house.

Should you grow tired of your music collection, or feel like indulging your ears with something new to listen to, the Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S also has a DNLA 1.5 vTuner Internet Radio, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity to pull those tunes from thousands of radio stations from across the web.

A 2.5-inch colour LCD screen will display track listings and names of artists and bands. Music streaming aficionados will be pleased to know that the Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S is compatible with DLNA- certified PCs and hard drives. So if you’ve already got a separate hard drive or PC full of tunes, the Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S will stream those too.

The Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S will also work with Pioneers Air Jam music app, that when activated, will let visitors add their own tracks to an assembled playlist on the device – a great addition those planning a house party anytime soon.

The Pioneer’s new X-SMC3-S is out now at a cost of around £256. But do look around for the best deal.
