Ortbitsound T9 soundbar gives your iPhone and iPod more oomph!

If there’s one thing a lot of laptops could do better, it’s high quality audio. That’s where the Orbitsound T9 soundbar comes in. The sound-enhancing kit uses the power of its subwoofer to give laptop sounds a little more oomph. The Orbitsound T9 also packs in an iPhone/iPod dock to give your portable Apple device the gift of room-filling sound.

The 12-inch Orbitsound T9 is great for those with little room for an extravagant speaker set-up. Its 12-inch dimensions make it suitable for plonking on a desk, where it will use Orbitsound’s spatial sound technology to blast audio around the room.

The Orbitsound T9 also comes with an embedded mini speaker dock for your iPhone and iPod – you can stick either in to make the most of your digital tunes, and control them via the T9’s remote control. The T9 will also charge any iOS device plugged using its integrated charger, for when you next want to take your device out and about.

Or you could use the T9 to improve the audio of films and on-demand TV content from apps such as Demand 5 when watching catch-up episodes of The Gadget Show, of course.

You’ll be able to get your hands on this neat bit of kit very soon. The Orbitsound will be available from around mid-July from John Lewis and other selected stores, so keep an eye out for those.
