Nokia X6 lands this week
Nokia X6 – look out iPhone
The iPhone-bothering Nokia X6 smartphone makes its official UK entrance on Friday.
With features such as 32GB of flash storage, a 3.2in touchscreen and a high-quality five megapixel camera, comparisons with the all-conquering iPhone are inevitable.
It’s also a bit of a looker, with a slim, curved-edge profile and a glossy 16:9 touchscreen that dominates the front of the device. The on-board autofocus camera features Carl Zeiss optics and a dual LED flash, and you can record and edit video too.
The X6 has Nokia’s Comes With Music service on board, which offers free online access to six million songs for a full year. To sweeten the deal, the X6 will launch with an exclusive bonus track from Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ album pre-loaded.
Nokia claims the battery is good for 35 straight hours of music playback, or eight hours of talktime.
The new Nokia X6 will be available free on £35-per-month contracts, or for £449 SIM-free from Nokia.
