Nokia Lumia 900 The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition goes on sale

The Avengers movie may still be packing them into their seats at the cinema but the next big Super-hero blockbuster of the summer is starting to hit town as The Dark Knight Rises media machine kicks into life. First up we have the rather neat Nokia Lumia 900 Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition smartphone that goes on sale today!

The Nokia Lumia 900 is the biggest smartphone from Nokia to date with is 4.3-inch display and comes tucked with the latest version of Windows Phone inside, so you can use it for Tethering with your laptop, as well as other neat updates. It weighs in at 160g, which is a reasonable weight given its size of screen and measures in at 127.8×68.5×11.5 mm.

The Nokia Lumia 900 Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition takes the standard Windows Phone device and its jet black polycarbonate body suit and etches a laser cut Batman logo onto the back. It’s a nifty looking design but we’d have preferred it if it shone a bat logo up into the night sky!

It’s not just the phone itself that has been tweaked to give you the best The Dark Knight Rises experience, as a bunch of wallpapers, video trailers and a cool looking Batman app all come as standard on the phone, giving you something to show off to your mates.

The Dark Knight Rises hits cinemas on 20th July but the Nokia Lumia 900 The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition smartphone is going on sale today and is exclusive to Phones4U, where you can pick the phone up for free on a contract from as little as £13 a month (24 month contract).

What do you think, fancy getting your hands on this limited edition smartphone or is Batman a little passed his sell by date? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below.
