Mophie Powerstation Duo: Turbo boost your iPad battery

Meet the Mophie Powerstation Duo, a seriously beefcake battery backup for your iPhone, iPad and other gadgets. It’s got two USB sockets to juice up your gear, and so much reserve power that it can almost double your iPad’s battery life on the go.

iPhone accessory maker Mophie is a master at helping you get more run time out of your powerful gadgets, and the Mophie Powerstation Duo is its most powerful back up gizmo yet. It packs in a huge 6,000 mAh of charge, which is almost exactly that of the iPad 2’s 6,600 mAh internal battery.

The new third generation iPad meanwhile packs in a heftier 11,560 mAh battery meaning the Mophie Powerstation Duo can still help it run for fifty percent longer in a pinch. The slickly designed, compact box is out now priced £89.95.

Alongside the Mophie Powerstation Duo, Mophie has also released the Powerstation Mini, a pocket sized version with one charger that retails for £49.95 – but still stuffs in a massive 2,500 mAh of capacity, larger than any phone battery.

iPad Mini incoming next month?

For a Powerstation I'll say get the New Trent iCruiser IMP120D 12000mAh External Battery Pack and Charger instead. It has twice the boost at 1200,Ah & I've used this from Cold Swiss to the African Jungle, sure you only get one USB but none of the dual ports I tried lasts as long or proven as reliable. Pick one up @ Amazon for the current price of 36.98 pounds.
