Metro: Last Light: check out 13 minutes of gameplay now!

Metro: Last Light is a post-apocalyptic sequel to cult-hit shooter Metro 2033, and already one of 2013’s most anticipated games. A year might be a long time to wait for it, but until then, publisher THQ has released a 13-minute ‘Welcome to Moscow’ play-through to show us why Metro: Last Light is worth getting excited about. See it here.

Metro: Last Light puts the player in the middle of a desperate civil war in Moscow, centring on the struggle for control of a doomsday device with the potential to wipe out humanity.

The demo sees protagonist Artyom team up with young Red Line officer Pavel, as they attempt attempt cross the hostile surface of a post-apocalyptic Moscow in a bid to reach the safety of legendary station city The Theatre.

Metro: Last Light promises fans an ‘immersive’ and ‘terrifying’ single player adventure, with lots of fun gun-based combat, exploring, and pant-wetting survival horror and suspense. If the unedited sequence is anything to go by, there will be plenty more of that in store come 2013.

An ‘intense’ multiplayer campaign is also promised, so expect plenty more details to surface as we edge closer to its release.

We will of course tell you more when we hear it, but until then, check out the full 13-minute demo in its full unedited glory at the link below.
