Metal Gear Solid HD Collection not set to hit the shops until February
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection looks like being a great bundle for fans of the franchise, with a collection of limited edition inclusions, and an improvement to graphics in the games themselves. Unfortunately, the release date for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection has slipped back to 2012, so you won’t be able to buy in time for Christmas.
First off, you won’t get any extra games as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. If you’ve not got all the releases in the franchise, however, it’s well worth a look, as you’ll find Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Substistence, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Even if you do own all the titles, it’s still worth checking out, as the graphics are improved across the board. As the name suggests, you’ll now be able to play in high definition, with the games also running at 60fps.
Rounding off the Limited Edition, there’s also a 248-page art book, called The Art of Metal Gear Solid.
Hitting the shops in Japan during November, according to CVG you’ll have to wait longer here for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, as it’s not set to launch until February 3rd, 2012.
