Max Payne 3 'Local Justice' map and weapon pack out now, get it while its cheap

Max Payne 3 is Rockstar Games’ latest shoot-em-up blockbuster giving players the chance to reprise the role of gaming’s most famous bullet dodger. We loved it. If you did too, divert your attention to the new ‘Local Justice’ map and weapon pack. It contains three new multiplayer maps, a new weapon, additional PS3 Trophies and Xbox 360 Achievements. And it’s out today.

Purchase the ‘Local Justice’ pack during this launch week and you’ll be able to get it on the cheap for 480 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, or £4.25 from the PlayStation Network and PC.

After that, the ‘Local Justice’ pack will revert to its normal price of 640 Microsoft Points and £5.49 on Playstation Network and PC.

The new Max Payne 3 Local Justice content packs in a new weapon (an M4 Assault rifle with attachments), PS3 Trophies and Xbox 360 Achievements. But the real meat is in its new maps:

Imperial Palace is a tight arena designed for close-quarter deathmatch and team deathmatch, with lots of places to take cover and creep on unsuspecting enemies.

The 55th Battalion map caters for all game modes. It’s one of the largest on show, with more tight corners, jail cells to hide in, and plenty of space to dive around in, allowing for a variety of tactics.

Departure Lounge is another flexible map situated in Sao Paulo’s Piratininga Airport – a location sure to be familiar to those who’ve blitzed through the single player mode.

If all of the above itches your trigger finger, you can purchase the ‘Local Justice’ content this week for the cheaper price of 480 Microsoft Points or £4.25.
