Logitech G600 MMO Mouse has 20 gaming buttons

Logitech has made its fair share of gaming peripherals and its latest, the Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse, is a bit unique. Designed for MMO titles such as World of Warcraft, it has 20 buttons. Gasps of shock aside, it’s an arrangement that actually appears to make sense – with the majority of the buttons situated on the side for wrist-ache-free convenience.

The button frenzy may sound daunting, but the idea is to deliver a more customised, and comfortable experience for players. Twelve of the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse’s buttons are placed where your left thumb would usually rest, and split into two sets of six buttons – each mappable to commands of the players choice.

Buttons can also be doubled up for quicker response time, in any configuration of the players choice. Each button features customisable RGB illumination too – handy for those late-night gaming sessions.

Logitech G600 MMO Mouse isn’t just for MMO players – it works just as well as a general gaming mouse, too. You can have a trio of profiles with preset configurations for your favourite games – each stored in the mouse’s internal memory.

On top of all that customised goodness, the Logitech G600 MMO Mouse is very responsive. Its 8200dpi laser sensor eliminates any lag issues, Logitech says.

Should you feel like indulging in a bit of World of Warcraft or recent PC hit Diablo with it, the Logitech G600 MMO Mouse is available from early July for around £69.99. We hope there will be a left-handed version, too.

What do you think, gaming fans? How’d you like the idea of a mouse with 20 buttons?
