LG Optimus LTE2 Android smartphone sneaks out
Is there anything happening in the smartphone market right now that doesn’t involve the Samsung S3? LG would like to think so as it’s chosen today to reveal its latest Android smartphone in the form of the LG Optimus LTE2. Does it have the chops to compete against everyone’s favourite Android? Read on and find out…
Not to be left out of the Android party, the LG Optimus LTE2 manages to pack in a “True HD” IPS display into its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered package. LG hasn’t revealed the size of the screen but at best ‘guestimate’ it looks to be a 4.3-inch display.
Laptop versus smartphone? Which do you love?
Along with the size of the screen, LG is keeping most of the tech specs under wraps. However, the LG Optimus LTE2 will come with 2GB of RAM built-in a standard, which is the key selling point and is the first smartphone in the world to feature such power.
It’s thought that LG will also be offering wireless charging with the Optimus LTE2 and the camera will pack in some top-tech to rival other Android smartphones out there. The LG Optimus LTE2 will hit Korean stores later this month but it’s not known if this smartphone will makes its way to the UK market any time soon.
Are you tempted by the LG Optimus LTE2 or is 2GB of RAM not enough to get excited about? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below.
