LG hops on Windows Mobile 6.5 bandwagon

LG hops on Windows Mobile 6.5 bandwagon LG + Windows Mobile 6.5 = match made in heaven?

Forget Android for a minute. Windows Mobile 6.5 is on the verge of being unleashed and LG has revealed that it wants a piece of that particular pie, stating that it will be unleashing no less than three handsets sporting the OS by the end of this year! Wow, it’s been busy!

LG apparently inked a deal to make Windows Mobile 6.5 its major platform for its mobiles, and, true to its word, the Korean company will be launching three handsets with the said OS before the year’s out.

That’s not the end of the Windows Mobile 6.5 goodness. In a move that must have made Bill Gates giddy, LG also announced it’ll have around 13 handsets sporting the operating system lined up for release by the end of 2010. That’s almost one a month! Looks like Windows Mobile 6.5 is going to be as prevalent as Swine Flu. In a good way, of course.
