HTC Endeavor details reveal iPhone and Samsung Galaxy rival

Details of the HTC Endeavor – HTC’s latest forthcoming flagship smartphone have emerged. If early details are anything to go by the HTC Endeavor will be worth waiting for, with specs such as a 1.5GHz quad-core processor to match the Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S 2 for speed.

Specs of the HTC Endeavor came to light after Android phone news site MoDaCo claimed to have been sent the juicy specs by a source close to HTC. This list of specs reveal that the HTC Endeavor will feature the latest Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich operating system (also known as Android 4.0), 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHZ Tegra 3-based quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.

The rest of the leaked specs indicate that the HTC Endeavor will feature an 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera (for video calls and cheeky self portraits) and come with Beats Audio technology from audio manufacturer Monster, for great sound from your music collection.

From that we can gather that the HTC Endeavor will be a match for any smartphone likely to be released this year. The alleged specs put the HTC Endeavor right up there with the Apple iPhone 4S, and even possible successors this year like the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S 3 – also rumoured to have a 1.5GHz processor, Android 4.0 and a similarly-sized 4.6-inch display, but a superior 12-megapixel camera.

If all true, the HTC Endeavor will be worth putting off that planned phone purchase for. All that’s left to do now is to wait till the Mobile World Congress (27th February – 1st March 2012) – the gadget calendar’s largest mobile convention to reveal all. Exciting times for smartphone fans.

Sounds like this could be one of the best phones to be available, with the samsung gs3 also being a very impressive phone. I'm sure they'll both sell VERY well. Not quite sure how you say they should be match for the iPhone 4s, as both the HTC and Samsung are QUAD core and 1.5ghz, not 1ghz dual core (iPhone 4s) Both should obliterate the iPhone when it comes to raw power, and with ICS (android 4) they should be superior phones in every respect. Hopefully they're not going to be overpriced like apple products, not holding out much hope on that though.
