HTC Desire - version 2 coming soon?
The HTC Desire Android phone is set for an upgrade – and it’s going to be stuffed with tasty new specs according to a leaked document doing the rounds today.
According to website Slashgear, the HTC Desire HD will features a larger screen and improved camera in the starring role. The screen will come rocking 4.3-inches as opposed to the current 3.7-inch model, as well as an 8-megapixel camera and the latest Android 2.2 operating system.
According to the rumours, it’ll also be able to record video in 720p HD and offer 4GB of internal storage. The HTC Desire HD’s CPU will remain a meaty 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
Rumours also indicate that the HTC Desire HD will use a unibody design, just like we’ve seen in the HTC Legend. HTC have yet to confirm or deny these reports, but stay tuned for more info as it happens…

So why don't UK have 4G networks? Are telecom managers failing on strategic planning for next generation networks?

re: 4g networks....they're coming and if you believe they are genuinely operational in the US then you probably bought an i Phone. LTE (4g) is going to need some heavy duty bandwidth supplied to each cell site. consider that backhaul connectivity of 100mbps to a site (shared by all users voice and data) is considered pretty chunky now - but that is a 3rd of what LTE promises to each user!
