Gesture Cube adds a new dimension to social networking

Gesture Cube adds a new dimension to social networking The future of social networking?

If your social networking has started to feel a bit flat lately, the Gesture Cube might be just what the doctor ordered.

It may only be at concept stage right now, but this clever gizmo gives us a tantalising glimpse at how gesture control will change how we interact with our gadgets in the future.

As the name suggests, the Gesture Cube is a square box, with each surface acting like an application window. But it’s gesture control that really brings the wow factor, with the whole device tracking 3D spatial movements around it, letting you perform just about any function through finger and hand movements, without having to touch the Gesture Cube at all.

The trio of companies behind it say the Gesture Cube offers “unlimited possibilities for enhancing daily life with effortless interaction”. We’d be tempted to agree if we could just get our hands on one. Or not, if you follow us.
