Crazy Taxi swerves onto iPhone this month!

Sega has been busy lately. After unleashing Jet Set Radio and Sonic Adventure 2 on consoles in all-new HD, it’s now raiding more of its stunning back catalogue for mobile. Arcade classic Crazy Taxi is next up, and based on a new trailer out today, it’s headed to iOS this month!

The tantalising 11 second trailer shows that frantic driving game Crazy Taxi is coming to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch this month, and based on the Offspring music in the background, it looks like the epic original soundtrack is coming along for the ride too.

Sega’s Crazy Taxi started life as an arcade game back in the 90s: the simple premise is to ferry passengers across the city as fast as possible. Of course, with hills steeper than San Francisco’s, and ramps aplenty, that means lots of stunts along the way. The game was later ported to the Sega Dreamcast, Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube.
