CoPilot Live gets your iPhone iNavigating

Fwd Tech  Thursday 06 August 2009

CoPilot Live gets your iPhone iNavigating CoPilot Live has hit the App Store for an amazing £26; we say: bargain!

Navigating the tortuous route the iPhone App Store and beating the TomTom iPhone app in the process, CoPilot Live brings you full turn-by-turn navigation, spoken directions and gorgeous 3D views! And all for a bargain price of £26!

It looks like you can relegate that hideous satnav box back to the glove box, because now you can stick a sexy iPhone on your dash thanks to the CoPilot Live app converting it into a fully fledged satnav.

All the features you’d expect are included: 3D views, search by address, intelligent lane navigation, and some you might not expect. We’re talking an automatic night mode that switches the iPhone’s screen into high contrast when the sun starts to go down. There’s even something called LiveLink Location Sharing – a feature that allows you to become a sort of hi-tech stalker by tracking your mates’ locations on screen.

The best bit, though, is the price. For £26 you get a full-on satnav. And with Co-Pilot promising a free update to add safety camera alerts, clever call handling, and a better walking mode, it promises to get even better.
