Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 due November 13?
The launch date for the next Call of Duty game may have been inadvertently leaked. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 looks set to arrive on November 13, 2012. Confirmation comes after a photo of a pre-order card from the US was sent in to a US video game website, which has been published online for the world to see.
The pre-order card (pictured above, via IGN) US store Target, which clearly points out the game’s release above a ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops II’ game. Note the Roman numerals. Previous Call of Duty games have previously not used Roman numerals.
As spotted last week, an official Call of Duty reveal will take pace on May 1st during basketball playoffs in the US, says the official Call of Duty website, which hinted last week that Black Ops 2 will be set in the future, with remote controlled quadrotors. Since then publisher Activision has posted on the site what looks like an in-game screenshot of said remote-controlled vehicle.
The hints seen point to a 2027 setting for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, high-tech weaponry, an all-new weapon loadout, new perks, accessories and hopefully more ways to have fun in the game’s multiplayer modes. Till then keep an eye on all the news as we see it right here, and on Callofduty.com for more of those clues, and hopefully some insight into the story.
