Battlefield 3 ‘Aftermath’ details revealed, new maps & vehicles galore
Battlefield 4 may have been announced, but there’s still plenty of life in Battlefield 3. EA has released new details for the latest Battlefield content, titled ‘Aftermath’ packing a handful of new bullet-strewn maps, vehicles and a new battle-hardened game mode to tide players until Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 arrive this November.
The new Battlefield 3 Aftermath content was announced on the official Battlefield website, confirming four “urban” maps that’ll have players fighting through battered terrain, new game modes & assignments.
Battlefield 4: EA won’t ignore Battlefield 3
The new maps will feature “shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran Battlefield 3.” Aftermath “depicts a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation.”
In Aftermath, the rubble-heavy landscapes will provide players with new obstacles and challenging conditions, providing plenty of cover and paths to explore. The above picture is a concept art from the pack.
The pack will also feature new heavy armour and civilian vehicles, achievements and dog tags. There will also be a new game mode – the exciting details of which have yet to be revealed.
A release date has not been confirmed, but it is thought that the Aftermath pack could arrive within the next month or two.
It should give Battlefield 3 players fans plenty to enjoy before Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launch this November. Halo 4 arrives in stores a week before Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on 6th November 2012.

I believe this download comes free with Battlefield Premium, which I have, so I will definitely be downloading it! Looking forward to some news stuff, especially vehicles, although I haven't heard what to expect on that aspect yet.
