Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A3 for iPad: Angry Birds at ear deafening audio levels!
The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A3 is an iPad peripheral with a difference. It houses adaptive stereo speaker technology and a trio of speakers to add serious muscle to the iPad’s audio skills. Bang & Olufsen likes to think of it as a device that transforms your iPad into an all in one mini entertainment hub that you can plonk on your desk to use as an all in one TV, radio and gaming do-it-all.

With the BeoPlay A3 you can watch TV with Bang & Olufsen-enhanced audio, listen to music as if were a Hi-Fi system, or use it with Skype for conference calls with better audio quality.
An internal battery (independent of the iPad’s) lasts up to eight hours on a full charge. But if you have a spare iPad lying around the BeoPlay A3 can be used with a power cable so it can act as your permanent desktop TV, radio or portable gaming distraction of choice. Yes: you will be able to annoy anyone in the vicinity with your Angry Birds addiction.
The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A3 will be available on 21 May in Bang & Olufsen stores in the UK at a price of £449. A white version is also planned.
Bang & Olufsen also officially unveiled the BeoPlay V1 TV we caught a glimpse of last week, available in 32-inch and 40-inches with full HD talents, five HDMI inputs, a USB port and connections for an Apple TV. They will cost £1,199 and £2,499 respectively.
