Assassin’s Creed 3 collectors editions surface

Assassin’s Creed 3 has been getting everyone excited, and rightly so. A new character and setting for the third game in the series has caught fans imaginations. Now Ubisoft has announced details of not one, but three Assassin’s Creed 3 collectors editions stuffed to the brim with all kinds of goodies. Here’s a taster of what to expect.

Each Assassin’s Creed 3 collectors edition, each come with a copy of the game, and differing collectible objects that vary between each of the three collectors editions.

Assassin’s Creed 3 to launch on October 31st

The Freedom Edition comes with a copy of the game, a 24cm figurine of protagonist Connor, steelbook case art, a George Washington notebook revealing secrets behind the game’s story and an exclusive Lithograph.

Bonus in-game content includes 2 single player missions: Lost Mayan Ruins, where Connor explores an old Mayan pyramid, and Ghost of War where “The tide of the Revolution turns into the Templars favour”, and you must defeat the enemies to progress. It also comes with a multiplayer Sharpshooter package.

The Join or Die Edition also has a copy of Assassin’s Creed 3, a medallion, the same George Washington notebook from the above edition, and just the one in-game single player mission. The Sharpshooter multiplayer package is also included.

And finally the Special Edition. A copy of the game comes in special packaging, bundled with an exclusive single player mission called ‘A Dangerous Secret’ where players “fight against a secret that could jeopardize the funding of the revolution”. Players will also get a Flintock Musket as an exclusive weapon.

It’s a lot to take in, Assassin’s Creed fans. Assassin’s Creed 3 hits the shops on 31st October, 2012. Which collectors edition will you go for?
