Assassin’s Creed 3 American setting confirmed, more details March 5th
Just two days after the first image of Assassin’s Creed 3’s new character leaked, developer and publisher Ubisoft has promised more details on the sequel will be announced next Monday, March 5. Ubisoft has also released a shot of the game’s box art, confirming those American revolution rumours from earlier. More details on the game this way.
The leaked image revealed a character decked out in the familiar Assassin’s Creed style gear, brandishing a Musket, Tomahawk and a bow and arrow, standing against an American flag. Since then even more info have emerged courtesy of Game Informer, with some juicy plot details.
“Set in the latter half of the 18th century, we’ll see the war between the Templars and the Assassins escalate as it crosses over to the New World of America, and witness firsthand the events of the American Revolution. Caught in the conflict is a daring new hero in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.”
A new hero means no more Ezio Auditore. But fans will have already known that. Thanks to an earlier Ubisoft announcement we already know that Assassin’s Creed 3 will hit the shops on October 30.
