Apple TV screen size revealed: Too big for British living rooms?
We heard that the fabled Apple TV flatscreen was in production earlier this week, but now we’re hearing the first details of just how big it’ll be. Are pokey British living rooms ready for it?
Focus Taiwan reports that testing of the Apple TV has begun at manufacturing partner Hon Hai – and it appears that Apple’s own-brand TV set is quite bigger than the average UK telly. Several prototypes are being tested, with display panels ranging in size from 46 to a whopping 55 inches.
Which Smart TV setup is right for you?
By contrast, a report earlier this year found that the average UK TV size was 30.6 inches, about half the size of Apple’s models being tested right now. Who knows when, or even if, we’ll see Apple’s television debut, but some seem to think that it’ll be popping around sometime in 2014. What do you reckon, is it too big, too small or just about right? Sound off below.
