Apple teases the iPad Mini in press invite: Come and see!
Apple’s just ruined the Microsoft Surface pricing party with news of its own: invites have just gone out to journalists for an event in San Jose, California next week. And by the looks of things, we’re right on target for that fabled iPad Mini.
Tech journalists have just been invited to an Apple event on 23 October – as rumours predicted – and the email from Apple is accompanied by the artwork below, teasing that Apple has “a little more to show you”
Nexus 7, Nook and iPad Mini: Seven inch tablets explained!
That almost certainly alludes to the iPad Mini Apple is believed to be working on, with a 7.85-inch screen and a Lightning port, just like the iPhone 5. But we could also see a new, thinner 13-inch MacBook Pro according to reports.
Either way, the likes of Google and Amazon should be very scared given the success they’ve seen in the sub 10-inch tablet market recently. Is Apple about to snatch them away from their moment in the sun? We’ll find out this time next week.

What do you reckon we’ll see? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments below.
