2eleven brings foosball to the table

2eleven brings foosball to the table It’s football as it should be – the players can’t run off to surround the ref…

The closest most of us will ever get to feeling like a professional footballer is in your local pub on the foosball table. Well that’s about to change. Because, with this 2eleven Foosball Table, you can feel that way at home too…

Gone is the old wooden design, and in its place is a sort of orange and silver, ergonomic style. Flowing edges, convincing detail, and fine materials make up the table, but it still has the classic handles that make it undeniably foosball.

Imagine the fuss that would be caused if, during the Manchester derby, say, a giant spilt his “pint” on the pitch, dousing Wayne Rooney in lager. Admittedly, old Wayne might enjoy that, but nobody else would. It’s the same on a foosball pitch. The clean-up operation, while not as big, is annoying. That’s why the 2eleven has built-in cup holders to cut down on the on-pitch spillages.

2Eleven’s also kitted it out with advertisement displays on either side of the pitch, an automatic ball lift and a score display, so you can keep reminded the poor sod opposite who the foosball daddy is (as long as it’s you). There are even two LCD displays at either end of the table. What they’re for is anyone’s guess, particularly as they look like they’ll be hidden behind the players. Action replays would have been a cute idea.

Still, this looks like a top foosball table. There’s no word on price yet, but as soon as we hear, you can get your spinning hands at the ready…
