The Hannspree television is an OK television but is by far not even close to a decent cheap one! I have friends that have tried the Hannspree and have had at least three each in a short space of time due to them breaking down often! BUYER BEWARE!
As far as the gaming on the cheap goes, Jason got it wrong........again! The game Angry Birds is NOT the first one of that type and it won't be the last! There are MANY far better and far superior to Angry Birds for around the same price! The racing game (Real Racing) has a DREADFUL control system where the phone itself is manouvered to control the car, the big problem being that it is SO sensitive it's EXCEEDINGLY hard to control the car. That's why the person was concentrating so hard on the application, he was trying to control the darn car!! It had nothing to do with it being a great game to play on the cheap because I know from experience IT'S NOT! Again, BUYER BEWARE!
As for the games Jason picked and then gave to a load of MEN to play the were all games of a similar vein to what he, they, and I grew up playing in the 70s, and 80s as in they were the sort of games that certainly the children of today (and more than likely the women of today would NEVER play!
Doom 2 is good but again would not be gone near by anyone other than men my age really and that would be for nostalgia reasons as the graphics are too basic for children in today's world and it's not generally the sort of game girls would have played then and the same females wouldn't be playing it now! It also costs 400 Microsoft points which is equivalent to £5.00, NOT £3;43! £1.00 is 80 Microsoft Points!
Forza Motorsport 2 is one of those racing games where when you get any sort of speed up and then push left or right on the joystick to try turning a corner the car continues straight on, totally unresponsive!
I've not played the other three, but going by the other four they would not be that wonderful and would be MUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS (apart from possibly Doom 2 I told you about above! But then that would be for nostalgic reasons) like the four I told you about above!
So once again BUYER BEWARE!, BUYER BEWARE!
