Jon and Pollyanna went head to head to see who could get the best tech bargains. Jason got his game on testing the latest gaming laptops and Suzi got her hands on some hairy men to test the Top 5 Razors. Thanks to all of these guys who made it all happen!

Hi guys! Just finished watching your interesting feature on buying tech in the UK versus European prices. Whilst it was encouraging to learn that we’re not always suffering “rip-off Britain”, there were a couple of additional points that I feel should have been mentioned: 1. When Jon was buying his various items in France and Switzerland, none of these would be fitted with a UK plug. It’s also unlikely that the manuals would have been in English, and obtaining these sometimes costs extra as well. 2. Based on past experience, it’s never a good idea to buy a TV in another country as the internals are almost always built for receiving different signals. I once had a very high-tech TV from Germany that wouldn’t work at all here, and when I asked about conversion costs I was told that the new internals would cost almost as much as a new TV! Not only that, but the label on the back said that the thing had been constructed in the UK before being exported to Germany. Keep up the good work! Andy.

Great show this week and so pleasing to see a more grown up approach to real world gadget buying issues. Keep up the good work.
