Spooky stuff: a touchpanel allows Ortis to control the ghostly goings-on from afar.

We asked ourselves the question: would it be possible to convince somebody of the existence of ghostly spirits – using only gadgets? If you’ve seen our Halloween special you’ll know that the answer is a resounding “yes”, as we scared singer Liz McClarnon out of her wits in the (admittedly spooky) surroundings of Tamworth Castle.

You can see exactly how we convinced poor Liz that she was being stalked by a spectre by checking out our new behind the scenes video. It took a few miles of cabling, some powerful electromagnets, a huge subwoofer, motion sensors and a couple of touchscreen panels (controlled by yours truly) – but it was worth all that effort just to see the look on her face.
