Episode 2 - Living without wires
This week on The Gadget Show Suzi and Ortis face a head to head race across England to find out whether it is possible to lead a totally wireless life. Has technology reached a point where we no longer need wires and cables? With this question in mind Suzi takes on Ortis, using only wired technology to help her, in a dash from London to Plymouth. Ortis, on the other hand can only use wireless technology in this exciting tech-fuelled race that involves Lamborghinis, power boats, trains, electric cars and even the tube – Check out all the tech that help them do it here…

Hi, Great fan of the gadget show - Watch it every week. Really enjoyed the wired/wireless challenge last night. But I couldn't help notice that Suzi cheated, because she used her wireless moblle to get Otis's phone number. Naughty girl. Regards Peter Meehan

Very interesting but why select an electric Smart car when a Tesla Roadster, an electric car which only needs recharging every 244 miles and does 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, would have been perfect. Also Tesla is already in the UK.

The death slide at the end of the race looked amazing, can anyone tell me where it is in Cornwall please?

Love the gadget show, brilliant stuff and this challenge is no exception. However, its not to say that wired tech is better, e.g, in real life Oatis could have used any of the tech Suzi used combined with wireless tech could easily beat both of them. 8)
